Family Nurse Practitioner (Full Time)The Nurse Practitioner provides medical services to patients across life spans in collaboration with and under the supervision of an MD, within the license of the State of California for Nurse Practitioners.  This includes the delivery of primary health care to infants, children, adults and geriatric patients. The nurse practitioner is responsible for adhering to and following the standardized procedures/process protocols in adherence to the Nurse Act in California, Business and Professional Code, Title 16, Article 7, Sections 1470-1474 and Title 22, Division 3, Section 51240- and 51241.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current valid California State Registered Nurse License or Physician Assistant License.
2. Current valid California Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License. 
3. 
Must have completed in good standing an approved nurse practitioner program which meets the standards of the Board of Registered Nursing in California.
4. 
Must have credentials which meet the regulations allowing a nurse practitioner to furnish medications and devices.

BLS certification.

OB Charge Nurse (Full Time) - The Charge Nurse is responsible for the smooth, safe and efficient functioning of the Birth Center during a 12 hour shift. The Charge Nurse makes patient assignments, directs patient flow and acts as a resource in emergencies and for clinical questions. This position requires the ability to remain focused in a busy environment, while maintaining a commitment to patient centered care and customer service. 

The ideal candidate is able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure, and had excellent communications, time management and problem solving skills. One year of leadership experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate with relevant nursing experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys a challenge and the fulfillment of working in collaboration with a team. 

RN for Pain Management Clinic (Full Time) We are looking to fill a full time Registered Nurse position for our Pain Management Clinic. The RN is responsible for the assessment and reassessment of the patient, taking into consideration the data collected by other members of the healthcare team. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the development of the patient’s plan of care to include preparation for the patient’s discharge and required patient/family education. Responsible to provide leadership for the nursing patient care team and collaborate with departments.

RN for Same Day Surgery Department (Per Diem) We are looking to fill a per diem Registered Nurse position for our Same Day Surgery department. The RN is responsible for the assessment and reassessment of the patient, taking into consideration the data collected by other members of the healthcare team. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the development of the patient’s plan of care to include preparation for the patient’s discharge and required patient/family education. Responsible to provide leadership for the nursing patient care team and collaborate with departments.

RN is responsible for the development of patient's plan of care to include preparation for the patient's discharge and required patient/family education. Also responsible to provide leadership for the nursing patient care team and collaborate with departments. Must possess a current CA license, BLS and meets all specific department requirements. Previous acute care experience preferred.

Emergency Dept. RN (Full Time) - The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment and reassessment of the patient, taking into consideration the data collected by other members of the healthcare team. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the development of the patients discharge and required patient/family education. Responsible to provide leadership for the nursing patient care team and collaborate with departments. Possesses current ACLS and PALS certifications and/or obtains certifications within six (6) months of hire.

Birth Center RN (full time/part time/per diem) - Located in beautiful and temperate rural coastal California, our Level I community hospital has 2 triage rooms, 3 LDRPs and 4 postpartum rooms for mother/baby couplet care. Our Birth Center is low tech and high touch with a low epidural rate and even lower C/S rate. We staff 1:1 for labor clientele who prefer Doppler to continuous EFM. We promote rooming-in, breastfeeding and the golden hour even for patients with surgical deliveries. The best fit RN has a gentle touch but with keen situational awareness and proportionate response.  Our providers are a mix of licensed midwives, certified nurse-midwives, FP, DO and ObGyn. All of this adds up to a much sought after comfortable, charming, family-centered atmosphere adored by staff and patients.

ICU RN (full time/part time/per diem) - The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment and reassessment of the patient, taking into consideration the data collected by other members of the healthcare team.  The Registered Nurse is responsible for the development of the patient’s discharge and required patient/family education. Responsible to provide leadership for the nursing patient care team and collaborate with departments. Possesses current ACLS and PALS certifications and/or obtains certifications within six (6) months of hire.  Must demonstrate competency in EKG/Rhythm strip interpretation.  Previous Critical Care experience preferred.  CCRN preferred.

Home Health RN (full and part time) - The Home Health Registered Nurse has strong clinical skills and is able to act independently within the standards of care for the Home Health Service. Under supervision, he/she provides a wide range of clinical services including health assessment, teaching, medication review, treatments, and counseling in the home. Home visits are made for specific purposes in the homes of patients whose physician request services according to a plan of treatment. The nursing process is the framework utilized. Goals are set and outcomes are measured based on the comprehensive tool known as the OASIS. The nurse encourages both patient and family involvement and fosters independence. Plans of Treatment may involve the entire interdisciplinary team. (RN, PT, OT, ST, MSW, CHHA) Home Health supports community involvement including referrals to agencies that support patients to remain safely at home. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Current license as a Registered Nurse in California, current BLS Certification, current California driver’s license and the possession of a reliable car, safe effective driving skills and current auto insurance, and experience in home health is desirable. A minimum of one year experience as a professional nurse is required, Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the NLN is preferred, must meet the required elements of the essential job functions.

Nursing Assistant Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct patient care.

Emergency Room Technician - As an ER Tech, you will be responsible for performing basic patient care duties under the supervision of the Registered Nurse; collecting and recording vital signs and intake / output data; reporting data collected to the Registered Nurse; responding to emergency situations; cleaning and stocking patient rooms; and assisting in the routine ordering and stocking of patient care supplies.

ICU Monitor Technician - As a Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for the continuous observation and monitoring of cardiac rhythms for all critical care and telemetry patients; the detection of cardiac arrhythmias; the interpretation and documentation of cardiac rhythm per department standards; and communicating changes in the patient’s cardiac rhythm to the Registered Nurse.

Wound Care RN Minimum of three years professional nursing experience required. Prefer at least one-year home health experience and one-year experience as a WOCN in any setting.

Education/Certification/Licensure:

  • BA/BS preferred
  • Current CA RN License
  • Graduate of WOCN program and WOCNCB Certification in wound and ostomy within 6 months of hire
  • CPR Certified
  • CWS Certification may be accepted in lieu of WOCNCB Certification in wound

Home Health LVN -  The Home Health LVN has basic nursing knowledge, a repertoire of service-driven and patient-oriented interpersonal skills and maintains the standards of care for the home health department. The Home Health LVN furnishes services in accordance with agency policies under a Plan of Care. This includes preparing clinical and progress notes, assisting the registered nurse in performing specialized procedures, preparing equipment and materials for treatments observing aseptic technique as required, and assisting the patient in learning self-care techniques. This position requires emotional stability associated with fast paced responsibilities, rapidly changing priorities, creative problem solving, emotional demands of patients and their families.

Position Qualifications:
1. Current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in California.
