Home Health Care Plan Typist and Documents Support (full-time) Under the direction of the Home Health Director, and in direct cooperation with the Patient Care Service Manager, the Home Health Care Plan Typist and Document Support is responsible for the accurate production of home health plans of care. This position works with a team of administrative staff who oversee the daily operations of a busy home health staging office that supports the clinical staff who deliver medical and rehabilitative services throughout the community. In addition, this position secures patient private insurance authorization/ eligibility for referrals and works closely with the Patient Care Service Manager. This is a cross trained, multifaceted assistant position that demands critical thinking, the following of coding guidelines and accuracy in translation of clinical information to initiate the Plan of Treatment. The position demands cooperative teamwork with the Patient Services Manager on an ongoing basis to assure maximum visit projection and productivity. It requires the ability to communicate effectively with insurance carriers, clinicians, and facilities staff. It requires emotional stability, the ability to work under stress from the demands of multiple staff, varying situations, changing priorities and regulatory deadlines. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in computer data entry, typing and attention to accuracy, excellent customer service and telephone communication skills to receive and give accurate information is essential, experience in the medical field with medical terminology and coding preferred, current California driver’s license, the possession of a reliable car, safe effective driving skills and current auto insurance.
Physician Recruiter (part time) Responsible for recruiting qualified physicians or professional healthcare individuals seeking employment or a contractual position in the healthcare industry. The healthcare recruiter will act as the link between the employer and the potential employee/contractor, recruiting the best candidates based upon the explicit needs of the employer and/or facility for which an opportunity exists.
He or she will be responsible for working with outside recruiters with the most current needs, setting up job postings through various job sites, reviewing resumes and CVs, setting up interviews/Skype interviews and planning site visits, collecting vital information on candidates, and ensuring the medical organization is paired with a candidate who will meet and fulfill the needs of the employer or organization. The Physician Recruiter should know and understand the ins and outs of the hospital and clinics ensuring his or her ability to seek out the proper candidates for job postings. The recruiter should have a general knowledge in the healthcare field, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a friendly, supportive personality. Required Education: High School Diploma AA, AS, or Bachelors Degree, and at least 2-3 years of experience in the industry Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, ETO, compatible income.
Patient Experience Officer (part time) The Patient Experience Officer (PEO) is responsible for the inpatient patient experience from intake to discharge. The PEO will act as the hospital liaison for the Hospitalist program, and assists in the coordination of Case Management and Utilization Review. Position Qualifications: Experience working with all levels of hospital staff to provide a safe patient experience, working with Hospitalists to manage length of stay, experience leading teams of physicians and staff to obtain efficient utilization of hospital resources, CPR certification, interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with referring physicians, nursing, scheduling, volunteers, vendors, administration, and patients or families who may or may not be under physical and/or emotional stress, ability to maintain confidential information, ability to work collaboratively with Managers, Physicians, and Staff through teamwork to set and achieve goals. Clinical background is a plus.
Medical Assistant (full-time/part time/per diem) The medical assistant provides supportive duties to the practitioner within a well defined scope of practice to provide medical care to all patients treated in this office. Assists with breath alcohol test and drug screening needs of the clinic. High school diploma, certified medical assistant and, 1 year clinical experience is preferred. Needs a current BCLS certification. Also an injection certificate, and a drug and alcohol screening certification within 6 months.
Certified Home Health Aide (full-time) Provides hands-on personal care for the clinically ill, convalescent and/ or disabled patient, assists in ambulation or exercises, assists with medications that are ordinarily self-administered and general household services to promote and maintains a safe, clean environment which will facilitate the patient's self-care at home. Must have current certification as a home health aide in the state of California.
Nursing Assistant (full time/part time/per diem) Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and / or Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct patient care. Must possess current BLS certification. Acute care experience preferred.
Radiology Secretary Responsible for non-technical support, primarily clerical. Technical staff and radiologist assistance as needed.
Housekeeper (full time/per diem) To maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas to promote sanitary, orderly, and attractive conditions. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous janitorial and hospital experience preferred. Also the ability to read, write, and effectively communicate orally in English.
Cook/Coffee Shop Aide (per diem) Under general supervision, responsible for the operation and cleanliness of the coffee shop, operates the cash register, records all cash and meal sale, serves coffee shop customers including cooking of grill items, making sandwiches and other related work.
