Perinatal Tech (full time/per diem) The Perinatal Tech provides patient supportive care and maintenance of a safe patient environment under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. The tech assists licensed staff with patient care duties under the direct supervision of those licensed personnel. The OB tech provides department clerical support duties facilitating the smooth and efficient operation of the department, and provides unit support by efficiently managing equipment and supplies. Performs BLS support in patient resuscitation.
Clinic Receptionist/Front Desk (per diem) Clinic receptionist performs both receptionist and front office duties as needed in order to best serve the clinics needs. Must be able to perform all clerical functions for the registration of clinic patients. Receptionist assists in the operation of the facility by greeting and registering patients, answering the phone, filing, and maintaining order in the reception area, and providing clerical support to the Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner. Under the supervision of the Practitioner, provide direct patient care and supportive duties to the practitioner with a well defined scope of practice. Assists with the implementation of the patient’s plan of care and assists with the provision of patient/family education. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Communication and speaking skills to receive and give information in person and by the phone; 1 year experience in medical office preferred; Current BLS certificate required; High School Graduate or equivalent required
Landscaper/Gardener (full time) Under the direction of the Manager of Plant Operations, the groundskeeper is responsible for the maintenance and care of the landscaped areas incorporated within the facility. Examples of Groundskeeper responsibilities are: mow the lawns, prune the bushes and trees, edge the walkways and give the grounds a manicured look; during winter keep all of the walkways and building entrances cleared and safe; take on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary by the Director of Plant Operations; collaborate with maintenance team to make sure the grounds and the building are always properly cared for; and perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on the lawn care equipment and tools, sprinkler systems, etc. Monday-Friday 6:45-15:15 shift
Clinic Supervisor The Office Supervisor is the on-site coordinator of office operations and provides support to the front office and back office staff. Is crossed trained to other positions in order to assume others roles when necessary. Coordinates on and off site programs, serves as a resource to phone calls and provides information when needed. The office supervisor takes on projects and tasks as assigned by Department Manager to assist in the smooth operations of the clinics. Acts as liaison between clinics staff and Department Management. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; 1 year clinical experience preferred; 1 year office experience preferred; Current BCLS certification; Cross training to all clinics front and back positions within 1 year of hire or promotion
Home Health Documents Coordinator/Oasis Entry Clerk Under the direction and supervision of the Home Health Director and the Outcome Analyst is responsible for obtaining, coordinating, validating and entering accurate computer data in the organization’s systems. The data is related to the patient admission process and the OASIS data set. Exporting accurate data into the Department’s inter rater tool aka PPS+ is an additional responsibility of the position. The Doc. Coordinator also acts as a backup to the file clerk 485 typist and CMS transmission clerk. This position is a cross-trained, multifaceted clerical position that demands cooperative teamwork, effective communication with patients, staff physicians and other departments of the hospital. It requires emotional stability and the ability to work under stress for the demands of multiple staff, varying situations, changing priorities, and regulatory deadlines. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of two years’ experience in performing clerical or secretarial functions in a multi-tasking position, including computer skills involving advanced data entry and basic word processing; Previous home care and / or hospital clerical experience preferred; Knowledge of use of a multi-lined phone system and voice mail; Satisfactory completion of medical terminology class; Current California driver’s license; The possession of a reliable car, safe effective driving skills and current auto insurance; Must meet the required elements of the essential job functions
Medical Supply Coordinator (weekends) Responsibilities: to keep medical supplies within the patient care departments of the hospital at levels that maintain maximum usage of the supplies while striving to keep minimum overall inventor levels by developing inventory procedures that supports ultimate inventory utilization.
Medicare Biller Responsible for billing and follow up of patient accounts with appropriate payers within established time frames. Assist patients and other parties with questions regarding patient accounts.
Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with the public. Knowledge of insurance and government programs and physician/hospital billing experience preferred. One year related experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
Medical Assistant (full-time/part time/per diem) The medical assistant provides supportive duties to the practitioner within a well defined scope of practice to provide medical care to all patients treated in this office. Assists with breath alcohol test and drug screening needs of the clinic. High school diploma, certified medical assistant and 1 year clinical experience is preferred. Needs a current BCLS certification. Also an injection certificate, and a drug and alcohol screening certification within 6 months.
Phlebotomist The phlebotomist assists in the operation of the laboratory by obtaining specimens, accessioning laboratory tests in LIS, preparing specimens for transport, and maintaining supplies. Must have phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or the equivalent, and current CPR certification. Computer skills are desirable.
Dishwasher (part time) under general supervision, the dishwasher cleans and sanitizes all dishware, utensils, trays, pots, pans, and carts. Delivers and picks up patient carts to and from patient areas, prepares hot beverages for tray line; assists with tray line, cleans up after meetings and may be assigned other related jobs.
Nursing Assistant (full time/part time/per diem) Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and / or Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct patient care. Must possess current BLS certification. Acute care experience preferred.
PT Assistant Assists the Physical Therapist in providing medically prescribed Physical Therapy treatments to restore function and prevent disability. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be able to function in an independent manner and will be responsible to the supervising Home Health Physical Therapist. Must me eligible for licensing or is already licensed in by the State of California.
Sterile Processing Tech (part time) Under the direction of the registered nurse, functions as the scrub person during surgical intervention and technical assistant during GI/pulmonary endoscopy procedures. Manages the sterile field and/or other technical instrumentation and equipment. Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a scrub person in an acute care hospital or outpatient surgical facility. Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English. As well as availability to take after hours/emergency calls.
