Employment - Licensed and Registered Medical Positions

 

Certified Physical Therapist-full time/per diem/part time – Assesses patients’ medical status/functional loss and establishes and implements a plan of treatment that provides for achievement of optimum level of function using sound judgment and psychological sensitivity.  Maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.  Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with certificate, BS, MS, or PhD, and be eligible for licensing or licensed by the State of California. 

Physical Therapist-Home Health full time, part time, or per diem – The Home Health Physical Therapist assesses patients and their medical status/functional loss and establishes and implements a plan of care that provides for achievement of optimum level of function using sound judgment and psychological sensitivity within a health care team model.  He/she maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development. 

Clinical Lab Scientists (CLS)(full time)-The Clinical Laboratory Specialist is responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of the basic theories, principles and practices of Clinical Laboratory Science and a working knowledge of the literature and current developments in the field of Clinical Laboratory Science. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist must provide direct and constant supervision of all non-licensed personnel.

Radiology Technologist full time, part time or per diem – Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, prepares the exam room, supplies, and contrast media for use in imaging procedures, and is responsible for the well-being of the patient while in the Radiology Department.  The technologist is also responsible for transporting the patient and for general secretarial duties within Radiology.

ER Tech-

Surgical Technician – Under the direction of the registered nurse, the Surgical Technician functions as the scrub person during surgical intervention and technical assistant during GI/pulmonary endoscopy procedures.  Manages the sterile field and/or other technical instrumentation and equipment.  Must have a minimum 1 year experience as a scrub person in an acute care hospital or outpatient facility.

Social Worker Home Health – The Home Health Social Worker has an in-depth knowledge of social work methods and community resources.  The primary focus is advocacy, intervention and referral regarding those emotional, social, and environmental factors impacting significantly upon the overall health status of the individuals.  The direct service role includes advising, counseling, and, when appropriate, instructing family in a patient’s social needs to assist them in coping with the impact of illness/injury.  The position requires an MSW and at least one year of social work experience. 

Pharmacy Tech II – The Pharmacy Technician II assists the pharmacist in the various dispensing functions of the pharmacy department.  The technician also processes daily patient charges, orders and receives stock, and maintains an appropriate level of inventory.
